Welcome To
Waterfowl Preservation Alliance
"...more than a hunting club"
If you love hunting, if you enjoy the camaraderie of fellow gentleman sportsman, WPA is your Club.
Founded in 2013, by generations of waterfowl hunters, WPA’s mission statement has always been “more than a hunting Club”. WPA’s founding members shared a vision of selfless sacrifice to conservation, youth activity in the outdoors, and the need to contribute financially to the preservation of our country’s migratory waterfowl. As a social and recreation organization, WPA is recognized as an IRC 501 (c)(7).
WPA members hunt on world-class Texas waterfowl properties in Southeast Texas, primarily situated in Wharton County, all within an hour from Houston. From legendary Texas ranches, to the renowned rice fields of the Katy plain, our guides select the most productive locations available.
The club hosts numerous shooting events annually; including, but not limited to, sporting clays, Columbaire style pigeon tournaments, and boxed quail competitions. WPA also hosts member and guest fishing tournaments. WPA is also a major contributor to local waterfowl chapters, including Ducks Unlimited and Delta Waterfowl. And not to be forgotten, the legendary WPA holiday party, where Members and guests enjoy upscale dining and “swag bags” replete with holiday treasures.
WPA is fathers, wives, sons, daughters, sometimes grandkids, and friends, joined together in a common bond, a love of our country, our freedom and our commitment to giving back to our community and our simple appreciation of our nation’s natural resources, primarily waterfowl. WPA is “more than a hunting Club”.
